Syriac-Aramean Village of Arkah During Sayfo

Arkah, also designated as Arkah-Harabale or Üçköy, is located 20 kilometers south of Midyat in the Tur Abdin region. Prior to the massacres, seventy Syriac-Aramean families inhabited the village. Amidst the violence, these families sought safety by fleeing to the nearby Mor Malke Monastery.
